The Basement in Covent Garden was a safe and fun place for many inner city kids to hang out during the 1970's and 1980's.

Thanks to people like David Bieda, Christina Smith and the various music teachers, photography teachers and youth workers, we all had ample opportunities to learn new skills and to make lifelong friends.

Most importantly, it kept us off the streets and gave us all a place to "belong". It was a great place to belong to!

Now

Since 2007 we have been on a mission to track down ex Basement members and invite them to an annual reunion. Each year we find more people and each year the reunions are more and more fun and rewarding.
